The house is on Al Halfaia Street in Gezirat Al Bairat, on the West Bank at its closest point to the city. Luxor Temple is 1.6 km away and the museum 2 km. In the other direction the Colossi of Memnon are 2.5 km, Medinet Habu 3.5 km and the Valley of the Kings 4.9 km. Location is the lowest score at 9.5, because the east bank still means a ferry.

All are air conditioned and soundproofed, with a private bathroom, extra long beds, a refrigerator and tea and coffee facilities. Windows look onto the garden, the courtyard, the city or the mountains behind. Cots and extra beds are not available, so the house suits couples and solo travellers better than families with small children. Reception is open around the clock with a tour desk and currency exchange, parking is free, and there is security day and night.
